1. Drinking Water As Soon As You Get Up:
Drinking two glasses of water as soon as you get up in the morning is a must. This helps to neutralize the acidity in the digestive system and smoothen the bowel movement. Then you can have a cup of tea or coffee. This has been the fuel for Dr Ramana to begin the day. Following which you can keep about an hour’s gap before you have your breakfast. During this time it is essential to engage yourself in exercises for a minimum of half an hour. It could comprise of walking or treadmill. This helps in giving a boost to your energy level and helps to tackle the day without feeling exhausted.
Make sure to eat a different breakfast each day. Devise interesting breakfasts. Idli, upma, poha. You should not rush through; start your day in a relaxed manner. After you get to work, take a break for sometime around 11.00 am; you could drink a cup of tea or coffee. You can also take a light snack, non-greasy items like a smaller yelaki banana. 5. Dinner: Dinner should always be light, preferably two chapathis along with 1-2 vegetables. Rice should be avoided as it is rich in carbohydrates. Dinner should comprise of food that is easily digestible. Dinner should be followed by a light walk or a stroll.
